An Exploration of Coaching Companies

By Marilyn R. Pastillo

The overall consensus between people that experience high levels of success, such as athletes, entrepreneurs, and highly motivated individuals, is that they are likely taught, motivated, and mentored to success by a coach. There are all kinds of resources like coaching programs for the individual or the group. They vary in objective, process, and consistency. There is an abundance of resources, however, amongst the most life-changing are programs with an integrative training philosophy.

If you're lucky, you may have received good reinforcement from a parent or adult figure. Rare is the occasion in which you had a ready-made coach to challenge, motivate, and help grasp your capabilities. A coaching program will typically aim to generate a sense of self-empowerment in the individual, thus diminishing dependency. It is these things that motivate someone to hire a coach to help them be more successful in different situations and events in life. Why is that the case? For the grounds that an intention is more likely to take form! This means there is a higher chance of a goal actually being reached! He stands a better possibility of challenging himself and finding a sense of balance in different areas of life. The outcome could be a sense of significance in life, and a more elated existence. And, if there's a thing most of us seek, it is a more joyful existence.

Different training programs offer different services, with varying rates and missions. If one prefers a coaching program to (an often times pricier) one-on-one program, below is a breakdown of a few training resources.

Resources in Executive Programs Executive Coach training offers courses within a professional realm, while working from personal ambitions. This is a great way for a person to heighten professional skills, such as improved leadership, sales, and communication. The Anthony Robbins coaching program is a great type of a program that has a strong element in Executive Coaching. A program like this is made with executives in mind, and help already successful individuals truly shine. An added option found in a similar training could be to coach not just executives, but various levels within the company.

Life Coach Resources A Personal coaching program takes an overall snapshot at what a person is trying to do, while taking into account his or her goals and interests. Explorative strategies are often utilized by Personal coaching (or life coaching) courses, with the intent of setting a clear objective, and a plan to realize that objective. Landmark Education is a commonly referred program for individuals interested in well-rounded Life Coaching. As a program, Landmark is prized for being very approachable and easy to comprehend, and its life coaching allows people to address a number of different life areas in which they want to grow.

Resources Within an Integrative Training Program For those who want to go a little deeper through personal and/or executive goals to add a perspective of ethics, a great program would be an integrative coaching program. This type of program "gets" the interconnectivity between the individual being coached, and his personal/professional aspirations, and every other person and event in that individual's life. It would be like experiencing a google satellite view of the globe, while being able to zoom in at the "street level" of an individual's life, while documenting, measuring, and planning for goals in all areas of life! An excellent example of such a program is Keith Raniere's Executive Success Programs, which offers tools to achieving life goals, with ethics and humanitarian goals in mind.
